Murray stopped all 27 shots he faced as the Penguins won a second straight Stanley Cup with a 2-0 win over the Predators on Sunday.

Analysis: Murray became the first goalie to win not one, but two Stanley Cups as a rookie after being a late-season call up a year ago who didn't play enough games to get that tag removed. That's something neither Patrick Roy, Ken Dryden or Cam Ward ever managed, but the 23-year-old Murray finished this Final shutting out Nashville for the final 146:52. He set a rookie record with two shutouts in the Final.

The Flyers have signed Gostisbehere to a $27 million, six-year contract extension.

Analysis: The 24-year-old Gostisbehere had seven goals and 39 points in 76 games this season, a dropoff from a sensational rookie season in which he had 17 goals and 46 points.

Sissons will be able to play in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final after the NHL decided against suspending him.

Analysis: The NHL reviewed Sissons' cross-check of Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta's face inside the final minute of Thursday night's 6-0 win by Pittsburgh. Sissons was given a match penalty, triggering an automatic review. Not having Sissons would have been a blow to Nashville's depth at forward with center Ryan Johansen and left wing Kevin Fiala out injured. The league announced its decision on Twitter on Friday.

Malkin finished with a goal and an assist in Pittsburgh's 6-0 win in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday.

Analysis: Malkin hadn't produced a point in the previous two games, but he now has 10 goals and 18 assists in 24 playoff contests.

Rinne struggled again in Pittsburgh in Game 5, giving up two goals in the first 6:43 of the game and it never improved from there as he started the second period on the bench.

Analysis: The three-time Vezina Trophy finalist allowed eight goals on just 36 shots during the first two games in Pittsburgh. Rinne, the playoff leader in wins and goals-against average, rebounded in a big way for Games 3 and 4 in Nashville, limiting Pittsburgh to a just two goals on 52 shots as the Predators evened the series.

Ellis will play in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final after leaving Thursday's Game 5 loss to the Penguins with an undisclosed injury.

Analysis: Ellis will give it a go in a game the Predators need to win to avoid elimination, though there's a chance his ice time could be limited. The defenseman has been a very important part of Nashville's playoff run, as he's tied for third on the team with 13 points in 20 postseason games.

Analysis: Murray allowed eight goals on 58 shots in dropping Games 3 and 4 to the Nashville Predators, who evened the series at two victories apiece.

Glendening is expected to be sidelined three to four months after undergoing successful surgery on his left ankle to repair tendon damage on Monday, the team announced Tuesday.

Analysis: The 28-year-old Glendening's procedure was performed by Dr. Don Bohay in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Rinne made 23 saves in the Predators' 4-1 win over the Penguins on Monday to even the Stanley Cup Finals at two games apiece.

Analysis: Rinne has been fantastic in two home games since being pulled in Pittsburgh. He's two more wins away from claiming the Conn Smythe Trophy.

Fast underwent successful left hip surgery and will be out for about five months.

Analysis: Fast, 25, skated in 68 regular-season games last season, scoring six goals and adding 15 assists. The defensive forward and standout penalty killer had a plus-6 rating. He also had three goals and three assists in 12 playoff games.

Bonino (lower-body injury) missed practice Saturday as the Penguins prepared for Sunday's Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final at Nashville.

Analysis: Bonino has sat out the last three games of the series and remains day to day. The center has recorded four goals and three assists in 21 games during the postseason.

Lundqvist sustained a sprained knee ligament while leading Sweden to the gold medal at the 2017 IIHF World Championship.

Analysis: Lundqvist told the Swedish newspaper Sport-Express that he injured his knee before to the gold-medal matchup against Canada last month. The Rangers confirmed the injury to NHL.com and said the Grade 1 sprain of the medial collateral ligament will sideline Lundqvist for four-to-six weeks. Lundqvist made 42 saves in a 2-1 victory over Canada in the championship game and turned aside all four attempts in the shootout.

Despite rocky performances in his last two starts, Rinne will be in goal Saturday night when the Nashville Predators host the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Analysis: Although Nashville coach Peter Laviolette did not make an official announcement on his starting goaltender, the Tennessean reported that Rinne was in net at Saturday's morning skate, typical a predicator of who will man the net that night. The 34-year-old Rinne has been dented for four goals in each of the first two games, twice getting burned for three goals in a span of under 4 1/2 minutes to allow Pittsburgh to seize a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
